Hemme has transcribed for the top guitar magazines in the U.S. and Canada. His first professional transcription was published by Guitar World magazine in 1983 – “Little Kids” by guitarist Steve Morse. His subsequent vocation as a transcriber led to contributions to Guitar Player, Guitar World (& its offshoots), Acoustic Guitar, Play Guitar, Fingerstyle Guitar and Canadian Musician magazines.
